Have you ever thought about taking up a course or Further Education since leaving compulsory education?
Many people think that once they've left school or college, education is not for them.
You may be missing out on the opportunity to learn something new for fun, to meet new people with similar interests, to develop a new skill for a new job or a hobby. Courses range from car mechanics, flower arranging to all levels of computer learning and academic subjects.
Learning can be taken up and accessed at any time throughout your life, whatever your age. It is now even more accessible and often in places locally such as community centres, libraries or locations in "High Street" settings.
Often the colleges, community education or organisations running courses have "taster" sessions for people to try. Not all courses attract fees, many are free.
If you have access, mobility, sensory or other needs to get to a venue or access a course or if English is not your first language, contact the organisation to find out if they can help you do the course of your choice.
