Do you want to stay independent in your own home but need a little help and you are not sure what is available?
Are you facing difficult issues and don’t know where to turn?
No-one to talk to?
Have you been treated unfairly?
This section offers information on some of the issues for older people and some suggestions as to who to talk to, leisure pursuits and some options as to how you can stay independent.
Celebrating Age Festival
What is it?
A free event at The Council House, College Green on Saturday, October 27 from 10 am to 4 pm.
The festival will be a fun day out for Bristol's older people, with a chance to try or learn something new! Everyone is welcome however to come along to enjoy the mix of entertainment, activities and information.
You're encouraged to visit for the whole day or to just drop in.

A "marketplace" of stalls and activities will run throughout the festival.
How accessible will it be?
The Council House is fully accessible.
The festival organisers will provide as much seating as possible.
Children are welcome, but there will be no creche facilities or specific children's activities.
