Computers don't bite!

Wherever you go, computers are everywhere! In Doctors surgeries, schools, colleges, libraries, shops and most work places. It can seem frightening if you've never used one before or have only done some typing. It can also be very intimidating when you find yourself with other people who are competent computer users.

So, get out and meet people just like yourself! Go on have a go! There are many places you can learn how to use a computer, from the basics to e-mail and the Internet, no matter what your age.

There are many different ways of learning:

  • Learning at home on your own computer.
  • Courses specifically designed for "Senior Citizens".
  • Why not try a taster session?
  • Courses out in the community run by Training Providers, Colleges and Libraries: Learn Direct, City of Bristol College, Local Libraries.
