We can fit smoke alarms to alert you to the hazard of fire at your home. In conjunction with Avon Fire & Rescue Service, we are working to ensure older people in Bristol have the benefit of smoke alarms which warn of the danger of a fire. These devices are free of charge. This work may be suitable for our Handyperson service.

We are offering a Home Safety Check Scheme which will give you the opportunity to get your home checked by our own, properly trained, Home Safety Assessor. He will be able to advise you on any issues found, and arrange for Practical Services items to be fixed, which will include items like fitting door chains and viewers, fitting free smoke alarms, and offering information where appropriate.
