Our power is our number. Use your voice, your vote, be heard.
There are 14 million people in the UK over the age of 60. In 2010, older people will cast around 40% of the votes. Politicians cannot afford to ignore the views of older people as they are the generation who could decide the next election.
Many of us never tell our politicians what we think of them or ask them to do something for us. Now is a crucial time to tell all the political parties how they can earn our votes.
AgeUK have identified five key issues that the next government needs to address and provide some extremely useful resources to help older people to make their voices heard in the upcoming election. Age Concern Bristol wish to promote this campaign in our local area.
