Bristol’s Free Swimming Initiative

30 Jan 2009

Take a dip!

The government’s free swimming scheme will commence in Bristol's pools from April 1, 2009 and anyone aged 60 and over will need to have a valid "Everyone Active" card in order to take up the free swim offer. From now until April 1 Bristol City Council is trying to ensure that as many people as possible sign up for their free "Everyone Active" card and by doing this the city council is hoping to reduce the volume of people wanting a card from 1 April onwards.
